The 'photo poster project' organized by cizucu has been held nationwide since the end of last year. By simply submitting photos to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and meet new photographer friends.

This time, we spoke with Yuki, a creator who participated in the photo poster project.

Please introduce yourself!

I take photos to capture moments that will never come again. My name is Yuki Yamashita.
I've been photographing for 4 years. My companion is the FUJIFILM X-T5.

What motivated you to participate?

Although I take photos, I seldom have the opportunity to print them, and I wanted to see my photos in a larger A2 size. The ease of doing this without having to set up or request printing was a major factor.

I also wanted to see other people's photos and hoped to deepen connections through our shared interest in cameras.

How was your experience participating?

I was quite anxious as I didn't know anyone else and participated alone. However, the atmosphere at the venue was very warm, and despite the different genres of photography, we all shared a love for photos, which made it enjoyable.

I learned a lot by understanding the thoughts and backgrounds behind each work.

Why did you choose that particular photo?

The photo I submitted was the first one I took after upgrading from the FUJIFILM X-T4 to the X-T5. It was a photo taken by an excited me. The model is my daughter. I had decided to photograph her first.

It was an ordinary evening, but it left a strong impression on me. I don't want to forget the feelings of that day—the joy of having a new companion, its usability, the atmosphere, and the temperature. All are precious treasures to me.

I want to cherish these emotions forever. That's why I chose this photo.

For those hesitating to join the photo poster project

I feel that photos gain meaning when they are transformed from data into a tangible form. Preserving, articulating, and sharing them is not an experience you often get.

On the day I participated, my heart was warmed, and I felt a strong desire to take more photos. I encourage you to join.
