The Austfonna ice cap on Nordaustlandet, part of the Svalbard archipelago in Norway, is the third-largest ice cap in the world, covering approximately 8,000 square kilometers. The rapid melting of ice due to global warming is a significant concern, contributing to rising sea levels. Captured here is an impressive image of waterfalls formed by melting ice. Having visited before, witnessing the melting sea ice in June was heartbreaking.
