Ricoh Imaging has announced the supply status of the film compact camera 'PENTAX 17'. The announcement date is June 19, 2024. The number of pre-orders far exceeded initial expectations, and it is expected to take time to supply the product.

Even if you have already placed an order, the product will be delivered after the release date. Additionally, the Ricoh Imaging Store and official e-commerce site have temporarily suspended order acceptance until a certain outlook on product supply is established. An announcement will be made regarding the resumption of orders.
The New Film Camera 'PENTAX 17'
The 'PENTAX 17' is a new film camera adopting a half-size format. It has been productized about a year and a half after the project announcement in December 2022. It also features mechanisms for 'enjoying camera operations' such as a manual winding lever and exposure compensation dial. It targets beginners and young people who want to start with film cameras. The suggested retail price is 117,700 yen (including tax).
