'Focus' spotlights creators, works, and trends. We highlight creators who post wonderful photos, introducing them along with their photos. Discover shared sensibilities and find new creative inspiration. This time, the theme is 'Scenery'.
Scenery Preserved Over Time
The scenery before us is not left to chance. It's not about capturing it in a photo, but taking photos to preserve it. Like a prayer, we capture beautiful scenery, hoping it remains unchanged. This time, we highlight creators who capture evocative landscape photos.
Boathouses Along the Shore, Healing Through Original Scenery
With a single-minded focus on natural landscapes, I carefully check composition and focus while being mindful of light. I often use a tripod even during the day and frequently use filters. Main equipment: SONY ILCE-A7RM5.
INFORMATION
Initially, I just wanted to capture the beauty of my surroundings and plants to keep as memories, so I started with a compact digital camera. Later, I was drawn to the beauty of bokeh and upgraded to mirrorless and DSLR cameras. I learned the joy of long exposure photography, such as capturing waterfalls, while interacting with others on the PHOTOHITO photo posting site. I also gained knowledge from magazines and the internet, experimenting to find originality while learning from failures.

Layering Photos with Nara's History
The main subjects are Nara's shrines, temples, natural landscapes, and deer. I carefully photograph to convey Nara's charm to viewers. Main equipment: FUJIFILM X-T5 & X-E4.
INFORMATION
I started photography seriously three years ago. Although I started casually, I quickly became engrossed and began taking photos daily. The reason for my deep interest is unclear, but my love for drawing landscapes since childhood and my grandfather's interest in cameras may have influenced me. I have won the grand prize in the 'Nara Pride Contest' hosted by Inobun at Aeon Yamato Koriyama, but I plan to challenge larger photo contests in the future.

Tracing Railways, Capturing the Present of Remnants
I focus on everyday objects rather than special ones. I also pay attention to contrast to get as close as possible to the composition I envision.
INFORMATION
How about it? Let's capture the scenery woven from past to present and leave photos for the future. We want to share, cherish, and preserve the scenery we have preserved over time.
