RICOH IMAGING Company, Ltd. has announced the restart of orders for the half-size format film compact camera 'PENTAX 17'. The order restart date is Friday, October 25, 2024, and the price is 107,000 yen (excluding tax).
This product uses 35mm film and supports a half-size format that allows for double the number of shots per roll of standard 35mm film. With a retro design featuring a manual winding lever, it offers the unique operational feel of a film camera.

The 'PENTAX 17' adopts a lever for manually winding the film. The operation of winding the film after taking a shot is a charm unique to film cameras, offering a nostalgic experience.
The camera body measures approximately 127.0mm in width, 78.0mm in height, and 52.0mm in depth, with a weight of about 290g (excluding film and batteries), making it a lightweight and compact design.
Equipped with a Prime HD PENTAX Lens
The 'PENTAX 17' is equipped with a prime lens with a focal length of 25mm (equivalent to 37mm in 35mm format). The lens, with HD coating, delivers clear and sharp images, allowing for high-quality photography even with a film camera.
