Western Digital Corporation has announced the launch of the UHS-I compatible SD card “SanDisk Ultra PLUS” under the SanDisk brand. The 64GB/128GB/256GB models became available on July 7, 2023, while the 512GB model was released on July 14, 2023. The retail prices are 3,080 yen, 4,840 yen, 8,690 yen, and 16,280 yen respectively (all tax included).
The maximum read speed has been significantly increased from the previous 130MB/s to 160MB/s.
“SanDisk Ultra PLUS” supports Video Speed Class 10 (V10) and UHS Speed Class 1 (U1), making it ideal for Full HD video recording and ensuring smooth video capture. Additionally, SanDisk’s proprietary technology enables high-speed transfer of large numbers of photographs and Full HD videos to your PC.
