This time, we spoke with the creator jasminum＝おジャス, who participated in the photo poster project.

Hello! I'm jasminum＝おジャス, a photographer. When we meet at the exhibition, feel free to call me 'おジャス'.
I capture moments that feel soft yet memorable, like sensing humidity. I value the atmosphere between light and shadow, and the temperature that feels like it touches the skin as I press the shutter.
I mainly shoot portraits, fashion, and art photos. I hope to deliver a world that lingers in the heart through my photography.
What Inspired You to Participate?
When I participated in the previous exhibition in Tokyo, I had a great time talking with cizucu users and visitors. The warm atmosphere was unforgettable, so I decided to participate again this time!
Especially during the gallery talks, hearing directly from the artists about their thoughts behind the photos was fascinating. Seeing the works again after hearing the stories revealed a completely different side, which was very interesting. The depth and background of the photos become much richer, and discovering new insights is one of the great attractions of this exhibition.
Although I've participated in several photo exhibitions before, honestly, I sometimes felt the preparation was challenging. However, cizucu's exhibition supports everything from submission to printing and setup, making it easy to take on the challenge. I highly recommend it to those who want to try a photo exhibition but can't take the first step!
How Was Your Experience Participating?
While I usually share my photos on social media, experiencing direct reactions at the exhibition was a very refreshing experience.
I was particularly surprised by how different interpretations and feelings can be depending on who views the same photo. I learned perspectives I never considered, and there were many new discoveries through the works.
Moreover, it was delightful that photos sparked conversations and led to new connections. I realized once again that the atmosphere and communication that arise from viewing works in a real setting, rather than through a screen, are truly special.
Why Did You Choose That Particular Photo?
I've been photographing female nudes from a body-positive perspective for five years.
Through photography, I've had experiences that made me cherish my own body, and I continue shooting with the hope that it might help someone love themselves a little more.
This particular photo, chosen from my photo book 'La_La_La', symbolizes that sentiment. I hope it conveys the importance of affirming the beauty and individuality of the body and accepting oneself as they are.
