photo poster project | Deepening Understanding of Your Own Photos by fujikko | ISSUE #52

The 'photo poster project' has been conducted by cizucu across the country since the end of last year. By simply submitting your photos to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and meet new photographer friends.
This time, we spoke with the creator fujikko, who participated in the photo poster project.

Please Introduce Yourself!
My name is Fujikko, and I am a mother of one. I cherish capturing everyday moments and those that move my heart in photographs. I particularly enjoy recording my child's growth and the beauty found in daily life.
I am also fascinated by the expressive depiction of emotions through old lenses. Recently, I've discovered the joy of photographing objects, which has further expanded my world of photography.
What Inspired You to Participate?
Through photography, I express what I feel and what I hold dear. I have been taking photos personally, but I wanted more people to see my work and deepen communication through photography, which led me to participate in this exhibition.
Additionally, I wanted to meet and talk with the people running the exhibition, which was a significant reason for my participation. Although this was my first time participating in a photo exhibition, I was looking forward to gaining new inspiration through interactions with other exhibitors and the organizers!

How Was Your Experience Participating?
Participating in this exhibition gave me the opportunity to objectively reflect on my work. I was also greatly inspired by the photos of other exhibitors and realized the interesting differences in perspectives even on the same theme.
Moreover, I was able to meet people who resonated with my photos, which reinforced the significance of exhibiting my work. Connecting with people I met at the venue through social media expanded my world, making it a very enjoyable experience.
I hope to continue valuing such opportunities and further explore photographic expression.
Why Did You Choose That Particular Photo?
Since I started capturing moments with my child, cizucu was the first to appreciate my photos, so I chose my son's photo without hesitation this time as well.
I was particularly drawn to his curious expression in this photo. I also edited it to convey the expression of his grandmother standing behind him, aiming to capture the joyful atmosphere of the moment. The timing of the shutter release was perfect, which was a major reason for choosing this photo.

For Those Hesitant to Join the photo poster project
Exhibiting your photos allows you to see your work from a different perspective. Especially when printed, you discover new nuances in expressions and colors, which is fascinating.
Another major attraction of this exhibition is receiving direct comments from people who have seen your photos. Unlike social media, real reactions and feedback can deepen your understanding of your photos and may lead to new connections.
Feel free to participate!
