Me.., who enjoys capturing spontaneous moments in street photography and uses cropping to expand the range of expression, discusses the appeal of the Nikon Z5's free photographic expression. Without relying on high resolution, they focus on refining composition and always strive to create something wonderful.
Nikon Z5 Basic Information
Equipped with a full-frame CMOS sensor with 24.32 million effective pixels, achieving high image quality. The EXPEED 6 engine allows for clear high-sensitivity shooting. With 273-point hybrid AF, precise focusing is possible, and the built-in 5-axis image stabilization ensures stability even in handheld shooting. Although entry-level, it boasts professional-level depiction, making it ideal for landscapes and portraits.
Shooting Style
My shooting style focuses on snapshots, with only a few continuous shots, and I rarely shoot landscapes, nature, or vehicles.
For night snapshots, an ISO of around 3200 is usually sufficient. I believe high resolution is unnecessary for snapshots.

In this regard, I don't need more than the Z5's performance, and I think the advantages are greater. Although it has fewer pixels than higher-end models, it can withstand significant cropping.
Photographic Expression
I shoot with cropping in mind for my snapshots and other photography. I've come to realize the importance of refining composition through slight cropping.

While some may see no cropping as a virtue, I believe the pursuit of composition is more important, and cropping is a form of development and expression. Looking at overseas sites, they freely crop to maximize photographic expression.
Favorite Pixel Count
When it comes to pixel count, even amateurs printing photos usually go up to A3 size.
Higher pixel counts slow down processing and require high-spec PCs and more storage capacity. In this regard, I am satisfied with the Z5's pixel count.

The Beloved Camera Passed Down
The nickname 'beloved camera' passed down from the Nikon D7000 to the Z5. The D7000 stood by my side for over 10 years, and now the Z5 is with me.
This year, I will turn 60, and I hope the Z5 will stay by my side for another 10 years.
