This is a medium format mirrorless digital camera equipped with a large CMOS sensor 'G Format' of approximately 51.4 million effective pixels measuring 43.8mm x 32.9mm. This large sensor achieves overwhelming resolution and rich gradation expression.

By combining the image processing engine 'X-Processor Pro' with Fujifilm's unique color reproduction technology cultivated over more than 80 years, natural and beautiful color expression is possible. It also adopts a specially designed 'G Mount,' and combined with Fujinon GF lenses, it realizes high-definition depiction that maximizes sensor performance. The body is lightweight and robust, equipped with a detachable electronic viewfinder and a tilt-type touch panel LCD monitor, providing intuitive operability according to the shooting style.

I am currently using the GFX 50S camera. Released in 2017, it is a medium format digital camera with about 50 million pixels. I want to talk about the reason I arrived here after four cameras and about love.

I first got a camera in early 2020, and it will soon be five years. Throughout having various cameras, I've always thought, 'Small is justice' for cameras.

Starting with FUJIFILM's X-E3, even after changing equipment to X-H1, X100V, and SIGMA fp, that thought remained consistent. However, this year, after finally getting the GFX I had longed for, my thinking changed.

'There is still a camera I want to take out.'

Considering my shooting style, a small camera is definitely compatible.
Taking out as much as possible and standing at many opportunities naturally brings you closer to taking good photos.

From the thought that photos are meaningless if not taken and cameras are meaningless if not taken out, compactness was a requirement for cameras. However, once I decided to try the GFX I admired and pressed the shutter for the first time, all my thoughts vanished.

Rather than choosing a compact camera to take out, if you meet a camera that you want to take out, everything changes, I felt.

Let me introduce the GFX 50S I use once again.

The GFX 50S is a camera equipped with a sensor larger than a full-frame sensor, known as medium format. The sensor with about 50 million pixels allows for rich gradation expression.

By combining FUJIFILM's film simulation with old lenses, there are experiences that only this camera can provide.

I take the GFX 50S with me almost every day, even when I go to work.
It's obviously large, and including the lens, carrying something over 1kg daily requires a certain level of attachment.

But because I genuinely want to capture every scene and moment that comes before me with this camera, I can carry it.

Compact cameras make it easy to take them out. That's where I first learned the joy of photography.

On top of that, I met a camera that makes photography even more enjoyable. I hope everyone who takes photos can meet a camera they truly love.
