Creators who love photography share their stories with their cameras. The presence of a "beloved camera" reflects each individual's life views and values. In this series, fujikko, who loves the SONY α7 III, appears.
She talks about why she captures moments that move her heart, moments when everyday scenes feel special, and the sense of "living" she gains through challenges on her travels with the camera.
SONY α7 III Basic Information
Equipped with an effective approximately 24.2-megapixel 35mm full-frame back-illuminated CMOS sensor, it achieves a wide dynamic range and high sensitivity performance. With 693 phase-detection AF points covering about 93% of the image area and 425 contrast AF points, high-speed and high-precision autofocus is possible.
The standard ISO sensitivity supports up to 51,200, allowing for noise-reduced shooting even in low-light environments. Additionally, the body features a 5-axis image stabilization mechanism, effectively reducing blur during handheld shooting. Furthermore, it enables high-speed continuous shooting at up to approximately 10 frames per second with AF/AE tracking, capturing fast-moving subjects with precision.
Capturing Heart-Stirring Moments
The reason I hold a camera is that I don't want to miss moments that move my heart. Human memory can sometimes be conveniently or vaguely altered. I wanted to preserve both good and bad realities in their true form through photography. It is also a means to later verify my own "truth."

Focusing on Daily Life
The act of taking photos also serves as an opportunity to focus on daily life. Ordinary scenery or the smiles of family members seen many times feel special through the lens of a camera. Through such experiences, I have more time to appreciate, mourn, and reflect on everyday life.

Changed Scenery
Even when traveling, the camera was always by my side. I loved capturing moments full of emotions during adventures with camera friends or solo challenges. By turning experiences into photos, I felt a sense of living, not just feeling.

Also, retracing memories based on the photos taken is one of the pleasures. Sometimes I talk about past memories, and sometimes I revisit the places. Every time I see a changed scenery, I realize that I am indeed moving forward.
Continuing to Take Photos
I might have been afraid of becoming indifferent to living. Photography is a way for me to keep in touch with my own emotions. The world seen through the camera's viewfinder sometimes speaks harshly, sometimes gently.
In that dialogue, I realize that I am living in the "now."

Continuing to take photos. It is one way for me to keep confronting life. And if those photos can leave an impression on someone's heart and convey something, there is no greater joy.
