'Kamiarizuki' is the month when deities from all over Japan gather at Izumo Taisha, and it is only in the Izumo region that the usual 'Kannazuki' is called 'Kamiarizuki.' In 2024, this period is from November 10 to 17, during which Izumo Taisha exudes an even more solemn and sacred atmosphere.
About 1 km west of Izumo Taisha, at Inasa Beach, deities from across the nation are welcomed and gather under the deity 'Okuninushi no Okami,' known for matchmaking. During this period, three 'Kamiari-sai' meetings are held, believed to tie the bonds of happiness for people.
