The new LUTs announced by include four creative LUTs and one technical LUT. The creative LUTs are "Achromic", "Film Bias", "Film Bias Bleach Bypass", and "Film Bias Offset", each with its own unique characteristics.
"Achromic" emphasizes details and texture with low-contrast monochrome, creating a classic atmosphere. "Film Bias" provides a film-like warmth, reproducing natural skin tones. "Film Bias Bleach Bypass" is characterized by high contrast and muted tones, while "Film Bias Offset" combines a vintage feel with softness.
These LUTs add distinctive color tones to N-Log footage, further enhancing the creativity of filmmakers.
Achieve a Cinematic Look with RED's Color Science
Developed under the supervision of , these LUTs enable cameras to achieve a "cinematic look" similar to footage shot with cameras.
"Film Bias" offers a warm tone reminiscent of classic 35mm film, while "Film Bias Bleach Bypass" recreates a high-contrast, desaturated style like that seen in 'Saving Private Ryan'. "Achromic" evokes the nostalgic aesthetics of black-and-white films, and "Film Bias Offset" creates more dramatic exposure adjustments.
Professional Video Production Made More Accessible
These LUTs can be used with the latest Nikon mirrorless cameras (Z9, Z8, Z7 II, Z6 III, Zf, etc.) and some DSLR models (D780, etc.).
Filmmakers can utilize these LUTs with external monitors and editing software (such as DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro), streamlining the workflow from shooting to editing.
