A Memorial Year Celebrating the 100th Anniversary
The Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden offers an overwhelming scale of beautiful plants throughout the seasons, including one of Japan's largest greenhouses with tropical and alpine plants, and a rose garden with about 320 varieties blooming in spring and autumn.
This year marks the 100th anniversary, a century of sharing the charm of plants. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, a special photo contest will be held in two parts.
The theme for the second contest is 'Memories of the Botanical Garden'.
Capture special moments and beautiful landscapes at the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden with your camera and submit your entries. We welcome not only the latest photos taken this year but also memorable shots from the past.
