Yojiya and Me
This contest is a collaboration between 'Yojiya', which creates skincare items that enhance daily life and beauty, and 'cizucu', a community stock photo platform that captures your moments.
Founded in 1904 by Shigeo Kunieda, who began selling stage makeup tools in Kyoto, Yojiya became a nationally recognized Kyoto souvenir during the blotting paper boom of the 1990s.
Currently, Yojiya focuses on selling skincare products that bring customer satisfaction, leveraging years of skincare expertise.
In 2024, Yojiya will celebrate its 120th anniversary. With the long-standing pandemic coming to an end, new developments have begun.
Yojiya is currently undertaking various initiatives aimed at reducing dependence on tourism. While Yojiya is loved by many as a Kyoto souvenir, we want more people to discover the charm of Yojiya's skincare items.
We hope that our products will not only be chosen as souvenirs but also for personal care of skin, hair, and enjoyment. We want them to be loved in everyday moments and feel closer to everyone.
Therefore, we are holding a contest to capture and express Yojiya in everyday use through photography.
This contest will feature Yojiya products from Kyoto to all over Japan. Three participants whose photos best convey Yojiya's charm will receive everyday use products as gifts.

A Word from Representative Kunieda
After the pandemic, Yojiya felt a sense of crisis about its dependence on tourism. We are confident in our products and proudly offer them to everyone.
Aiming for everyday use rather than just souvenirs, we are actively working towards reducing tourism dependence. We would appreciate it if Yojiya could be expressed in photos as integrated into daily life.
We hope users capture how Yojiya products exist in their daily lives through photography.
