This phrase embodies a spirit that has long been passed down in Kyoto, emphasizing creativity and reflection on all things, cherishing everything. At Daimaru Kyoto, we don't just focus on thrift and endurance but enjoy engaging in environmental activities as part of our 'Shimatsu no Kokoro' philosophy. This contest invites each of you to express your 'Shimatsu no Kokoro'! For example... - A personally decorated reusable bottle you use every day - A favorite eco-bag you discovered on a trip Photos that depict a lifestyle that naturally connects to sustainability. Or, - Children playing in a park with litter - People struggling between eco-friendly and non-eco-friendly choices We also welcome photos that inspire or trigger awareness in environmental activities. Outstanding actions captured in award-winning works will be displayed as posters inside Daimaru Kyoto.
