The 'Lockable Post' currently being tested by is a new post format that can only be viewed by entering a specific code.
This feature goes beyond the traditional public or private options, creating limited and active engagement opportunities with followers, and expanding new possibilities for brands and creators.
New Post Feature Unlocked by Code Entry
The Lockable Post is a new feature being tested for some users on the official design account (@design).

When you click on the post, a lock icon and the message 'Enter code to unlock' appear on the screen. You can only view the content after entering the correct code. Hints for the code are included in the hashtags of the caption, and currently, it can only be unlocked within the app.
Relation to 'Reveal Sticker' and 'Frame Feature'
The Lockable Post is similar to the 'Reveal Sticker' and 'Frame Feature' previously introduced by .

The Reveal Sticker blurs and hides story posts, making them viewable only after the user sends a DM.

The Frame Feature allowed images within a Polaroid-style frame to be revealed by shaking the smartphone. Both features aim to encourage user participation and enhance engagement.
