Shoten Kobo Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the interchangeable lens 'TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8' for Nikon Z mount by Mingjiang Optical. The release date is June 12, 2024. The suggested retail price is 36,000 yen (tax included).
High-Performance AF-Compatible Medium Telephoto Lens Debuts
The 'TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8' is an AF lens equivalent to 86mm in 35mm format. It supports Sony E mount and Fujifilm X mount, with a lens configuration of 9 groups and 10 elements (including 1 ED low dispersion lens and 2 high refractive lenses) to reduce chromatic aberration and achieve excellent image quality. It uses a stepping motor and lead screw type for AF drive, allowing for smooth and quiet AF. Cameras equipped with on-sensor phase detection AF can also utilize video AF and eye AF.
Metal Body and USB Firmware Update Function
The lens barrel is made of metal, providing a pleasant operational feel with the focus ring. A square metal lens hood is also included. The rear cap is equipped with a USB connector, allowing for convenient firmware updates when connected to a PC (not compatible with macOS).
