Panasonic is set to release the full-frame mirrorless camera 'LUMIX S9'. The release date is scheduled for June 20, 2024. The expected retail price is approximately 208,000 yen (including tax) for the body alone, about 241,600 yen (including tax) for the K-Kit (including 'LUMIX S 20-60mm F3.5-5.6'), and approximately 287,000 yen (including tax) for the H-Kit (including 'LUMIX S 28-200mm F4-7.1 MACRO O.I.S.').
The new LUMIX camera 'LUMIX S9' has arrived. Available in two colors, Dark Silver and Jet Black, users can choose according to their preference. Additionally, a paid exterior replacement service is offered, allowing changes to Crimson Red, Dark Olive, and Night Blue.
Compact Camera Ideal for SNS Users
The 'LUMIX S9' is equipped with an image sensor equivalent to the 'LUMIX S5II', making it an ideal choice for first-time camera users, especially those who actively use social media. The compact, flat-top design body measures approximately 126×73.9×46.7mm and weighs 486g (including battery and SD memory card).

Advanced Shooting Features and Video Production Support
The image sensor boasts 24.2 megapixels and supports phase detection AF and subject recognition AF. Additionally, it offers a handheld high-resolution mode of 96 megapixels and a 'Pre-Burst' function at 30fps. Video shooting capabilities include up to 6K 30p, 4:2:2 10bit (Cinema4K 60p), with electronic image stabilization, 'Active I.S.', and 'Image Stabilization Boost' features.

Advanced Video Production and Customizable LUT Features
Additionally, the 'LUMIX S9' includes features such as 'Crop Zoom', 'Hybrid Zoom', and real-time LUT functionality, expanding the possibilities for video production. Using the smartphone app 'LUMIX Lab', users can create and save original LUTs, which can be easily transferred to and applied on the camera.
