SIGMA ha rilasciato il firmware aggiornato per sei obiettivi intercambiabili. La data di annuncio è il 20 giugno 2024. I prodotti interessati sono i seguenti. Il numero di versione è indicato tra parentesi.
Obiettivi soggetti all'aggiornamento firmware
L'ultimo aggiornamento per gli obiettivi Sony E-mount consente scatti continui a circa 120 fps quando combinato con la Sony "α9 III". Tuttavia, questa funzione è disponibile solo quando la modalità di messa a fuoco è impostata su AF-S, DMF o MF.
Gli obiettivi interessati sono 35mm F1.4 (E-mount), 85mm F1.4 (E-mount) e 18-50mm F2.8 (L-mount), con una maggiore stabilità operativa.
