Shoten Kobo Co., Ltd. has announced the silver model of the large-aperture medium telephoto AF prime lens 'TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8' for APS-C. With a focal length of 56mm (equivalent to 86mm in 35mm format) and a bright aperture of F1.8, it is suitable for portrait photography with beautiful bokeh and shooting in low-light conditions.
This lens is compatible with Sony E, Nikon Z, and Fujifilm X mounts, priced at 36,000 yen (including tax), and will be available from November 7, 2024.
Smooth and Quiet AF Performance with Sophisticated Design
The TTArtisan AF 56mm f/1.8 adopts a lead screw type STM (stepping motor) drive system, enabling fast and quiet autofocus. When combined with cameras equipped with on-sensor phase detection AF, it supports video AF and eye AF, ensuring you never miss a decisive moment.
Additionally, the lens construction consists of 9 groups and 10 elements (including 1 ED lens and 2 high-refractive lenses), achieving high image quality with reduced chromatic aberration. It also features a USB Type-C port for firmware updates.
