SIGHTRON Japan has released new models in the Venus Optics (Anhui ChangGeng Optical Technology) lens brand "LAOWA", adding DJI DL mount and Hasselblad XCD mount. The release date is November 8, 2024.
These wide-angle lenses, optimized for drone shooting and Hasselblad cameras, expand new possibilities for creators.
Ultra-Wide-Angle Lenses for DJI Drones
The newly adopted DJI DL mount "LAOWA 11mm F4.5 FF RL" and "LAOWA 14mm F4 FF RL Zero-D" provide an impressive field of view as ultra-wide-angle lenses. They are lightweight and optimized for drones, ensuring stable footage during flight.
The 11mm model, with a wide angle of 126°, is especially recommended for capturing vast landscapes and architecture. Additionally, the equipped filter thread allows for direct attachment of necessary filters, enhancing convenience.
Compatible with Hasselblad XCD Mount for Medium Format Cameras
The three new lenses with Hasselblad XCD mount, "LAOWA 15mm F4.5R Zero-D Shift", "LAOWA 19mm F2.8 Zero-D", and "LAOWA 20mm F4 Zero-D Shift", are characterized by their low-distortion design, ideal for architectural and interior photography.
The 15mm shift lens, with a wide angle of 110°, allows for professional photography by utilizing the shift function to minimize distortion in architectural structures.
Supporting Creative Expression with High-Quality Optical Design
Each model features excellent optical design, minimizing purple fringing and chromatic aberration to achieve sharp and high-contrast image quality.
These lenses help unleash creativity across a wide range of genres, from landscapes to architecture and astronomy, enhancing the shooting experience with drones and medium format cameras.
