Panasonic has announced the addition of a new color variation 'Camel Orange' and the zoom lens kit 'LUMIX S 18-40mm F4.5-6.3' to its full-frame mirrorless camera 'LUMIX S9'. The release date is October 25, 2024.

The 'LUMIX S 18-40mm F4.5-6.3' features an extremely compact design with a total length of 40.9mm and a weight of 155g, making it the world's smallest and lightest for full-frame mirrorless cameras. It covers a range from ultra-wide 18mm to standard 40mm, suitable for various scenes such as landscapes, architecture, snapshots, and portraits.
Additionally, it allows close-up shooting from a minimum distance of 15cm, and its dust and splash-resistant construction with a fluorine coating ensures high durability outdoors. Enhanced video performance with reduced focus breathing enables high-quality expression in both still images and videos.
New Color and Customization Options for LUMIX S9
The new color 'Camel Orange' added to the LUMIX S9 stands out with its bright tone, different from the previous Dark Silver and Jet Black. This expands stylish and expressive options for social media users and camera enthusiasts.
