Canon Inc. has officially announced that the release date for the full-frame mirrorless camera 'EOS R5 Mark II', aimed at professionals and advanced amateurs, is set for August 30, 2024. The body is priced at 654,500 yen (including tax).
This model features the newly developed engine system 'Accelerated Capture', which enables high-speed analysis and high-speed shooting, and utilizes deep learning technology, also to be included in the flagship model 'EOS R1' (scheduled for release in November 2024).
As the successor to the 'EOS R5' released in July 2020, it significantly enhances still and video performance, offering a full-frame mirrorless camera capable of diverse visual expressions. It employs a CMOS sensor with approximately 45 million effective pixels.
