The Lightest New E-Mount Telephoto Zoom Lens
Tamron has announced the telephoto zoom lens for Sony E-mount compatible with 35mm full-frame, '50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD (Model A069)'. Although its total length is almost the same as the previous model at 150mm, it weighs only 665g, making it the lightest 300mm zoom lens with image stabilization.
High-Performance AF and Excellent Image Stabilization
The lens configuration consists of 14 groups and 19 elements, including special glass materials and low dispersion lenses to suppress various aberrations. The BBAR-G2 coating prevents ghosting and flare, and the VXD linear motor focus mechanism achieves fast, precise, and quiet AF. It offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.22m at the wide end of 50mm and 0.9m at the telephoto end of 300mm, and includes image stabilization (VC).
Customizability and Durability
