Panasonic has announced the latest firmware for the mirrorless camera 'LUMIX GH6'. The announcement date is June 18, 2024. The version number is 3.00.
Enhanced Customization Options for 'LUMIX GH6'
The 'LUMIX GH6' now offers improved operational stability and the ability to add features through the paid upgrade software key 'DMW-SFU3A' (estimated retail price: around 33,000 yen including tax). This software allows the selection of 'ARRI LogC3' within the camera. It also supports the XLR microphone adapter 'DMW-XLR2'. However, it does not support 32Bit float recording.

Panasonic's flagship model 'LUMIX GH6' is a mirrorless camera specialized in video functions. It features a newly developed approximately 25.21-megapixel Live MOS sensor and a new generation Venus Engine. With advancements in image stabilization and high-resolution mode, it is capable of capturing still images of approximately 100 megapixels. Additionally, it supports next-generation interfaces such as 'HDMI2.1', USB3.2 Gen 2, and CFexpress, supporting professional video production. The release date is March 25, 2022.
