Insta360Japan Corporation has announced the action camera 'Insta360 GO 3S'. The release date is June 13, 2024. It is available in two colors: Arctic White and Midnight Black.
New Model in the Compact Action Camera 'GO Series'
The new model in the thumb-sized compact action camera 'GO Series' has arrived. Compared to previous models, it offers improved shooting capabilities and operability. It retains the detachable design of the camera and action pod, allowing for hands-free POV shooting using accessories.
Video recording supports 4K/30fps. The previous model supported up to 2.7K/30fps, but the CPU chip's processing power has been enhanced by 50%. Additionally, the distortion of the wide-angle lens has been reduced, achieving a more linear and realistic representation. Furthermore, support for Dolby Vision expands the dynamic range, and it also supports slow-motion recording at 1080p/up to 200fps and 2.7K/up to 100fps.
Advanced Features and Various Shooting Modes
The new product supports AI gestures. Even if the camera is placed out of reach, remote operations such as starting or stopping recording and taking photos can be performed with hand gestures. It also supports voice commands in Japanese.
Additionally, it features an 'Interval Video Mode', which automatically records by setting the shooting frequency and clip length. The aspect ratio switch for vertical and horizontal shooting is also automatically reflected.
It also supports the 'Apple Find My' feature, allowing the camera's location to be determined if lost. The included 'Action Pod' is a case-type accessory equipped with housing, remote control, and charging functions, and features a 2.2-inch touch screen.
