Sony has released the latest firmware for the mirrorless cameras 'α7 IV' and 'α7S III'. The announcement date is May 15, 2024. The version number is Ver. 3.01 for both.
Resolving Connection Issues and ISO Settings in the α7 Series
This update primarily addresses internet connection issues and improves operational stability. Additionally, for the 'α7S III', it resolves issues where the set ISO value was not correctly reflected when outputting RAW video to HDMI-connected RAW-compatible devices, and where the adjustable range for ISO AUTO limits was incorrect. Through this update, users can achieve more stable performance and accurate settings for shooting.
