Leica Camera AG has announced the 'Leitz Phone 3', featuring Leica's 'Leitz Looks' lenses. The release date is set for April 19, 2024, with a price of 195,696 yen (including tax). It will be available domestically through SoftBank Corp.
The 'Leitz Phone 3' inherits over a century of Leica's history and spirit of innovation, bringing a revolutionary product to the modern smartphone market. It features a high degree of design and functionality integration, with unique features such as improved image quality and a 'variable aperture'.

The core high-performance camera offers an effective resolution of 47.2MP with a wide-angle lens and a 1-inch CMOS image sensor, delivering exceptional photos even under challenging conditions. Additionally, fully automatic aperture, shutter speed, flash functions, and quick, accurate focusing with Octa PDAF ensure high-quality photography comparable to flagship cameras.
Leica's unique 'Leitz Looks' camera mode is designed for users to enjoy artistic photography. Newly added 'VIVID' and 'ENHANCED' filters further expand the range of photographic expression. Additionally, the watermark function adds a professional touch to photos.
