Print Like a Pro: New Model Added to Canon's Large Format Printer 'imagePROGRAF PRO'

Canon Inc. has announced a new product in the 'imagePROGRAF PRO' series, designed specifically for fine art production. The release date is April 25, 2024. The suggested retail prices are ¥2,183,500 for the 'PRO-6600', ¥844,580 for the 'PRO-4600', and ¥421,080 for the 'PRO-2600', all including tax.
New Large Format Inkjet Printers
The new series targets the fine art market, including photography, digital art, and paintings. It includes three models: the 'PRO-6600' capable of outputting up to 60 inches, the 'PRO-4600' supporting 44 inches, and the 'PRO-2600' supporting 24 inches.

Achieving Top Quality Prints with New Pigment Ink
The newly developed pigment ink 'LUCIA PRO II' significantly enhances print quality on fine art paper. It offers excellent lightfastness and a wide color gamut of 12 colors, reproducing deep blacks and vibrant colors.
Particularly on glossy paper, the use of transparent ink suppresses light reflection. Additionally, using 'Glossy Pro Platinum Grade' paper allows for long-term preservation of up to 200 years. Features like the ink sensing system and smart roll paper setup maintain high-quality image output while ensuring stable printer operation.
