Sony has released the latest firmware for the mirrorless camera 'α6700'. Release date: April 9, 2024. Version number: Ver.1.03.
The mirrorless camera 'α6700' is the latest model in the 'α6000 series'. It is the first APS-C camera to feature the new image processing engine 'BIONZ XR', which is used in the full-frame 'α' series. With AI-powered real-time recognition AF and the high performance of the video-dedicated 'Cinema Line', this compact camera opens new horizons in video production.

This firmware update primarily enhances video recording capabilities. It addresses issues such as videos not being recorded under certain shooting conditions and improves exposure stability when using extended ISO during video recording.
