Support for Nikon Z 8 Latest Firmware Ver.2.00: TTArtisan M-Z 6bit Mount Adapter | TTArtisan
Shoten Kobo Co., Ltd. has released the latest firmware for TTArtisan's mount adapter 'TTArtisan M-Z 6bit'. The version number is 1.02, announced on March 12, 2024. The price is 14,580 yen (including tax).
Innovative Optical Fusion with Mount Adapter
The 'TTArtisan M-Z 6bit' is a mount adapter for attaching Leica M mount lenses to Nikon Z mount cameras. Its main feature is the ability to automatically record lens focal length information as Exif data using the 6bit code system, optimizing the in-body image stabilization of the camera. This significantly enhances photo quality.
Enhanced Functionality and Flexibility for Better Shooting Experience
It also features a trap focus function that greatly reduces the burden of shooting. This function automatically releases the shutter when the focus ring is operated, making it easier to capture fast-moving subjects or use pre-focus techniques. The focus aid display allows photographers to visually confirm focus before making more precise adjustments, enabling them to adapt flexibly to various scenes.
Full Compatibility with Nikon Z 8 Firmware Ver.2.00
With the latest firmware update, the 'TTArtisan M-Z 6bit' is fully compatible with Nikon Z 8 Firmware Ver.2.00.
Nikon Z 8 Firmware Ver.2.00 introduces a new 'Bird' mode in subject detection, along with 'Pixel Shift Shooting' and three new 'Picture Control' modes. Manual focus functionality is also enhanced, allowing for magnified display cancellation with a half-press of the shutter button, and displaying distance via the focus distance indicator.
