Pentax Lens to Sony E-Mount: Latest MonsterAdapter LA-KE1 Ver.05 Released | SHOTEN

SHOTEN Co., Ltd. has released firmware update Ver.05 for the MonsterAdapter electronic mount adapter LA-KE1. Announcement date: March 22, 2024.

With this update, an aperture preview (depth of field confirmation) feature is included, allowing photographers to check the depth of field in real-time for more precise shooting.

It also supports aperture control during video recording, enabling flexible adjustments even while filming.

Additionally, the following lenses have been added to the compatibility list.

The 'MonsterAdapter LA-KE1' is an electronic mount adapter that allows Pentax K-mount lenses to be attached to Sony E-mount cameras. It enables extensive use of autofocus, providing greater flexibility in shooting.

Even during high-speed continuous shooting, AF-C ensures uninterrupted subject tracking. Additionally, it features a 'G Driver' for body-integrated motor AF lenses, maximizing the camera's phase detection and calculation capabilities for faster and smoother focusing than ever before.
