Release Date Announced for Power Zoom Adapter Compatible with RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z | Canon
Canon has announced the power zoom adapter 'PZ-E2/E2B' for the 'RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z' and the Speedlite Transmitter 'ST-E3-RT (Ver.3)'. The release date is March 29, 2024. The price for 'PZ-E2' is 170,500 yen (tax included), and 'PZ-E2B' is 220,000 yen (tax included).
The power zoom adapter 'PZ-E2/E2B' is specifically designed for the RF lens 'RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z', which was released on December 8, 2023. It enables motorized zoom operation when combined with the lens. The 'PZ-E2B' model features a 20-pin terminal variant that can be operated from an external controller.

Additionally, the Speedlite Transmitter 'ST-E3-RT (Ver.3)' is a device for controlling Speedlites from a distance. It adopts the same selection dial as the 'Speedlite 600EX II-RT' to improve operability, and the remote release terminal has been removed.
