Kenko Tokina Co., Ltd. will release SAMYANG's interchangeable lens 'V-AF 100mm T2.3'. The release date is scheduled for January 26, 2024. The price is 103,400 yen (tax included).
The 'V-AF 100mm T2.3' is a Cine AF lens compatible with Sony E-mount. It supports 35mm full-frame. It is characterized by its compact and lightweight design, ideal for video creators and small-scale production filmmakers.

The 'V-AF' series includes 24mm, 35mm, 45mm, and 75mm lenses, and with the addition of the 100mm, it now comprises five products. All models have a maximum diameter of Φ72.2mm and a weight of 280g.

The 100mm macro lens is longer than other models, but the center of gravity and focus ring are consistent, making it convenient for use with gimbals and drones. The lens front features a mount with an electronic connector, allowing the attachment of the separately sold 'V-AF Manual Focus Adapter'. The lens barrel side includes a custom switch for aperture settings and a focus hold button, along with a tally lamp indicating recording status.
