Retro Design Meets Modern Performance: COLOR-SKOPAR 28mm F2.8 Aspherical | COSINA
Cosina Co., Ltd. will release three types of Voigtländer's interchangeable lens 'COLOR-SKOPAR 28mm F2.8 Aspherical' in August 2023.
Paying homage to the era when owning a camera was a dream, it features an all-metal exterior and a 6-group, 7-element optical system with double-sided aspherical lenses. This wide-angle lens for rangefinder cameras emphasizes ease of handling. While maintaining the same optical performance as the 'ULTRON Vintage Line 28mm F2 Aspherical', it aims for a more compact size by reducing the F-number.
It is available in six variations based on mount, barrel styling, and color. Common specifications include a lens configuration of 5 groups and 8 elements, and 10 aperture blades. A dedicated lens hood and hood cap are also included.
COLOR-SKOPAR 28mm F2.8 Aspherical VM Type I
Adopts a Leica M-compatible VM mount. It uses a rotating helicoid system, common in the screw mount era, giving it a nostalgic appearance. The exterior material is brass. The suggested retail price is 89,100 yen for black paint and 85,800 yen for silver, including tax.
