Nikon Imaging Japan Inc., a subsidiary of Nikon Corporation, will release the Z mount interchangeable lens 'NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8' on July 14, 2023. The price is open, with an expected retail price of around 182,000 yen (including tax).

The 'NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8' is a compact telephoto zoom lens that covers a wide focal length range with a bright maximum aperture of f/2.8. Weighing approximately 795g and with a total length of about 151mm, it is lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry.
Utilizing Excellent Depiction and Bokeh Contrast for Photography
The 'NIKKOR Z 70-180mm f/2.8' offers attractive portrait photography with its bright maximum aperture of f/2.8 and the compression effect and large bokeh unique to telephoto lenses. It captures moving subjects clearly with reduced blur and noise, even in low-light conditions such as indoor sports. Additionally, it allows for a wide range of expressions, from soft depictions at maximum aperture to detailed images when stopped down.
Furthermore, it employs an 'STM (stepping motor)' for quick focusing and allows for close-up photography with AF. With a minimum shooting distance of 0.27m at the wide end and a maximum reproduction ratio of 0.48x, it can capture even subtle expressions in large detail, achieving diverse expressions with a single lens.
