Realizing Professional-Quality Still and Video Shooting in a Compact and Lightweight Body

With an effective pixel count of approximately 24.1 million pixels, the APS-C size CMOS sensor and the image engine 'DIGIC 8', combined with the 'RF lens' that exhibits excellent rendering performance, enable high-quality still and video shooting. It allows expressions unique to APS-C size mirrorless cameras, such as natural bokeh that is difficult to capture with smartphones and high-sensitivity shooting in dark places.

Fast and Accurate AF for Comfortable Portrait Shooting

Thanks to 'Dual Pixel CMOS AF', fast and accurate AF is achieved with a maximum of 143 divided focus areas. It features 'Eye Detection' that accurately captures the eyes of distant subjects, and supports eye detection of moving subjects even during Servo AF/movie Servo AF, allowing continuous shooting at up to approximately 6.5 frames per second with One-Shot AF and up to approximately 3.5 frames per second with Servo AF.

Video Performance for Various Shooting Scenes

Realizes high-definition video shooting at 4K/24P and high frame rate video shooting at HD/120P for smooth slow-motion playback of momentary movements. Additionally, it allows the addition of vertical position information to videos, enabling vertical video playback on smartphones when the camera is held vertically. The inclusion of video electronic IS effectively reduces camera shake, supporting various shooting scenes such as shooting while walking.
