The 'Kochia Carnival' will be held from October 1 to October 31, 2024, at Hitachi Seaside Park in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture. About 40,000 kochia plants will be in full autumn color, with the peak viewing period in mid-October.
The event also features autumn flowers, delicious local gourmet foods, and fun interactive events, making it a perfect autumn outing with family and friends.

Vibrantly Colored Autumn Kochia and Flowers
On 'Miharashi Hill', more than 40,000 kochia plants spread across the landscape, transitioning from green to red and then to golden hues, offering a magnificent view. The peak of the autumn foliage is in mid-October, and at the base, 2.36 million cosmos, along with pampas grass and reeds, create a beautiful autumn scene.

At four facilities participating in the 'Northern Kanto Flower Park Line', a digital stamp rally is being held. This project allows you to experience the autumn of the entire region while visiting famous spots like Hitachi Seaside Park and Ashikaga Flower Park, where you can enjoy autumn flowers.
