Ricoh Imaging Company, Ltd. has announced the release of the compact auto flash "AF180FG" with dust and water resistance, set for September 20, 2024. Priced at 33,000 yen (including tax).
This product is compatible with P-TTL Pentax digital SLR cameras and Ricoh GR series compact cameras.
Robust Dust and Water Resistant Design for Outdoor Photography
The "AF180FG" features sealing at 18 locations to achieve a dust and water resistant structure. This design ensures reliable operation in rain, fog, and dust, enhancing reliability for outdoor photography. Especially when combined with Pentax cameras that support dust and water resistance, it allows for more secure shooting.
Simple and Intuitive Operation
This product is designed for easy operation with a "flash mode switch dial" that also serves as the power ON/OFF switch. Users can select from four flash modes (P-TTL auto flash (front curtain sync, rear curtain sync), manual flash (FULL, 1/4)), and settings can be intuitively adjusted by simply turning the dial.
Flexible Bounce Shooting Capability
The "AF180FG" allows the flash head angle to be adjusted in 10 steps from -10° to 135°, supporting bounce shooting. By reflecting light off ceilings or walls during indoor photography, more natural and softer portrait shots can be achieved.
