Panasonic Entertainment & Communication Corporation has announced the 4K multi-purpose cameras 'AW-UB50' and 'AW-UB10', which combine excellent video expression with operational usability on site. The release is scheduled for the end of 2024.

These new cameras are designed to seamlessly integrate with remote camera systems, aiming to enhance video production efficiency while being suitable for use in businesses, educational institutions, live events, and more.

Advancements in Video Expression with Large Sensors

The 'AW-UB50' features a 24.2M full-frame MOS sensor, while the 'AW-UB10' uses a 4/3-type 10.3M MOS sensor, allowing for diverse video expressions based on sensor size.

Particularly, the AW-UB50 excels in cinematic video production, ideal for environments requiring high-quality expression with shallow depth of field. Both models boast rich color reproduction and high sensitivity, offering new possibilities for professional video production.

Operational Ease and Flexible System Construction

Both models feature a highly compact body design, allowing installation even in limited spaces. With support for IP control protocols for remote camera systems, camera control is simplified, contributing to operational efficiency.

Additionally, with PoE+ support, video transmission and control can be achieved with a single LAN cable, simplifying wiring tasks. Furthermore, equipped with two SD card slots, users can choose the optimal recording method, such as relay or backup recording, to support data management tailored to the shooting environment.

Diverse Features Supporting Video Production

Both models are equipped with the latest IP transmission standards and autofocus functions, meeting the needs of complex video production. The real-time recognition AF function and V-Log, which achieves a wide dynamic range, maintain video quality on-site while simplifying the production workflow. Moreover, integration with remote cameras and live switchers enables smooth video streaming and event shooting.
