Iwakura values the familiar operation and photo quality. She has been a long-time user of the 'CONTAX Aria', a camera known for its compatibility with Carl Zeiss lenses that beautifully capture light, and its lightweight, easy-to-handle body. It's a camera that brings her photos to life with clear and beautiful depictions.
Iwakura also aims to capture both landscapes and subjects without overemphasizing either. The 'Carl Zeiss Planar 50mm F1.4' allows for balanced shots of both landscapes and portraits. She adjusts the framing by moving herself during the shoot.

#film The Challenge of Finding Replacements for 'solaris'
Iwakura originally preferred using 'solaris' film, but since its production has ceased, she now uses Fujifilm. Despite the limited options, she continues to search for film that suits her style.

The music played during her shoots reflects Iwakura's dedication. Her favorite artist is Hideyuki Hashimoto, whose music complements the scenes she captures. Being from the same Kagawa Prefecture, she feels a connection between the scenes and the music. She also sometimes plays music by Haruka Nakamura and Ichiko Aoba.
