When you think of summer, festivals come to mind, don't they?
In Kyoto, where cizucu is based, the famous Gion Festival will be held for three days starting this weekend, July 14. The Gion Festival is one of Kyoto's three major festivals.
From local summer festivals in neighborhood parks to historic ones like the Gion Festival, festivals vary in scale, but the extraordinary atmosphere that can only be felt at festivals pairs well with photography.

What comes to mind when you think of festivals?
Fireworks, goldfish scooping, shooting games, food stalls, yukata, geta sandals, and various scenes come to mind.
Moreover, each historic festival has its own significance. Festivals welcoming deities with hopes for abundant harvests or prosperity might yield mystical photos.
During the hashtag feature period from July 11, 2024 (Thursday) to July 17, 2024 (Wednesday), we will select a few photos posted with and feature them in the cizucu magazine. We look forward to your enthusiastic submissions.
