Adobe Inc. released the latest version of its image editing software 'Adobe Photoshop' (desktop/Web) on July 23, 2024. New features include 'Generate Image' and 'Enhance Details', along with improvements to existing features. You can update to the latest version via 'Help / Update' in the app.

'Generate Image' is a feature that allows AI to create images from text. After the beta release in April 2024, it is now publicly available. By entering a descriptive prompt and applying additional creative controls such as content type, style effects, and reference images, you can generate images.

'Enhance Details' for Sharper Images
Images created with 'Generative Fill' from text often had quality issues like blurring when enlarged. The new 'Enhance Details' feature allows for sharper generation of fine textures and edge contrasts.

Other Updates
Updates to the 'Selection Brush' and 'Adjustment Brush' allow for more precise adjustments to specific parts of an image. Additionally, the 'Bullet List' feature is now available in the text tool.
The company also announced updates to 'Adobe Illustrator', incorporating the latest generative AI model 'Adobe Firefly Vector Model (Beta)' along with various feature enhancements.
