The content expresses an apology for the 'inappropriate use of stock photo services' in promotional images of products.
About Image Corrections for 'LUMIX S9' and 'G100D'
The company conducted a detailed review of images used on product introduction pages for models other than the 'LUMIX S9' (announced on May 23), which sparked the controversy. It was confirmed that images using stock photo services were also used for other mirrorless cameras and lens products. As of the release posting, the LUMIX product website has been checked. The corrections were made for 'LUMIX S9' and 'LUMIX G100D'.
Specific Corrections for Each Model
For 'LUMIX S9', out of 103 images on the site, 8 were replaced, 12 were deleted, and 25 had credits or annotations added. For 'LUMIX G100D', out of 210 images, 2 were replaced, 46 were deleted, and 26 had credits or annotations added. It was announced that the names of the company's cameras used for shooting would be included in 'credits' or 'annotations'. Other models will also undergo detailed image review and corrections.
