FUJIFILM has released the latest firmware for the mirrorless camera 'GFX100 II' and the interchangeable lens 'GF55mmF1.7 R WR'. Announced on June 13, 2024. Version numbers are 2.20 for 'GFX100 II' and 1.10 for 'GF55mmF1.7 R WR'.

Significant Improvement in Focus Ring Operation

The combination of the camera and lens has significantly improved the operability of the focus ring. It suppresses lens drive vibration during focus ring operation, enhances focus tracking, and optimizes the rotation angle for video shooting. To enable this feature, update the firmware and set the 'Focus Ring Operation' to 'Linear' in the setup menu.

'GFX100 II' - A Flagship Model Equipped with Cutting-edge Technology

The 'GFX100 II' is the latest model in the GFX100 series, featuring a 102MP sensor. Released in September 2023, the camera has significantly evolved from previous models (GFX100/GFX100S). The image sensor has been updated to the newly developed 'GFX 102MP CMOS II HS', further enhancing image resolution.

Additionally, it is equipped with the 'X-Processor 5', the fifth generation of the X series, also used in X-H2S, X-H2, and X-T5.
