Unveiling the Highly Anticipated Mirrorless Camera 'X-T50' Featuring 5th Generation Sensor and Enhanced AF Capabilities | FUJIFILM

FUJIFILM has announced the mirrorless camera 'X-T50'. Scheduled for release in June, the expected retail price is 246,400 yen (tax included) for the body only, and 264,000 yen (tax included) for the 15-45mm kit. Available in two colors: black and silver.
Introducing the New 'X Series 5th Generation' Model
The 'X-T50' is equipped with the X Series 5th generation image sensor 'X-Trans CMOS 5 HR' (approximately 40.2 million pixels) and the image processing engine 'X-Processor 5', similar to the 'X-H2S' and 'X-T5'. It features a new rounded body design compared to the previous model 'X-30 II'.
The ISO sensitivity ranges from 125 to 12800 (expandable to ISO 64 to 51200), with a maximum shutter speed of 1/4,000 seconds for the mechanical shutter and 1/180,000 seconds for the electronic shutter. The electronic shutter supports continuous shooting at a maximum of approximately 20 frames per second (1.29x crop), and it also includes a built-in flash.

Enhanced AF and Video Recording Features
The new model features a 5-axis image stabilization system, providing up to 7.0 stops of correction when paired with the 'XF35mmF1.4 R'. The AF system includes face and eye detection, as well as detection capabilities for animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, airplanes, and trains.
It supports video recording up to 6.2K/30P and includes tracking AF functionality during video capture. Additionally, the film simulation 'REALA ACE' is included, expanding the range of shooting options. The EVF features a 0.39-inch organic EL viewfinder with approximately 2.36 million dots, and the rear monitor is a 3.0-inch tilt-type touch panel with approximately 1.84 million dots. The compatible battery is NP-W126S, allowing for approximately 390 shots in economy mode.
