Lomo Japan Co., Ltd. has released the film camera 'Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Ema Ichikawa Edition'. Release date is May 7, 2024. Direct sales price is 18,800 yen (tax included).

First Collaboration with a Japanese Artist

This model is an instant camera released in collaboration with artist Ema Ichikawa. It is the company's first collaboration with a Japanese artist.

The design is based on Ichikawa's drawing series, using gold on various parts of the camera body.

The camera is equipped with a glass lens equivalent to 21mm in 35mm format, with an aperture range from F4.5 to F22. Shutter speeds range from 1/250 to 8 seconds (auto) and bulb mode (up to 30 seconds), with focus options of 0.3m, 0.6m, and 1m to infinity.

Additionally, it features an auto mode for automatic exposure settings and a bulb mode for long exposures up to 30 seconds. It also supports multiple exposure photography and includes a built-in flash. The lens cap can be used as a shutter remote control, and it comes with a close-up lens and a Splitzer for multiple exposures. The film used is Fujifilm's instax mini (for instant cameras).

Moreover, a booklet with photos of Ichikawa's gold leaf screen is included with the product, containing thoughts on Ichikawa's work.
