COSINA Announces New Lens for Nikon Z Mount
The 'NOKTON 75mm F1.5 Aspherical Z-mount' is a large-aperture manual focus lens for Nikon Z mount, compatible with full-frame sensors. This product was exhibited as a reference at CP+2024.
While possessing performance equivalent to the RF mount version released on April 26, 2024, it adopts a body design exclusive to the Nikon Z mount. The exterior design is tailored to each mount, offering an attractive option for DSLR camera users.
Optical Design Optimized for Nikon
The 'NOKTON 75mm F1.5 Aspherical RF' features a lens configuration of 6 groups and 7 elements, including one double-sided aspherical lens and three anomalous partial dispersion glass elements. When combined with compatible bodies equipped with the latest firmware, features such as Exif data embedding, in-body image stabilization (3-axis), and focus support functions are available.
The aperture ring is directly connected to the diaphragm blades within the lens barrel, and aperture settings cannot be made from the camera side. The product comes with a metal screw-in dedicated lens hood.
The lens is developed and manufactured under a licensing agreement with Nikon, featuring an optical design optimized for the image sensors of Nikon Z cameras.
