FUJIFILM Imaging Systems Co., Ltd. has announced a temporary halt on orders for the instant camera, known as Instax 'INSTAX WIDE 300'. The announcement date is April 1, 2024.
Production Delays, Resumption Date for Instax Wide Orders to be Announced Later
The sales forecast has greatly exceeded expectations, and production cannot keep up with demand. The resumption date for sales will be announced later on the official website.
The Instax Wide is characterized by its close-up lens that allows shooting up to 40cm, expanding the range of photography.
It is easy to operate, equipped with an auto flash that adjusts light emission, a forced flash function, and a brightness control function that allows free adjustment of photo brightness. The rear LCD allows you to check the remaining film and the mode in use at a glance.
Among the Instax series, it has been widely favored for its wide shooting capability and ease of use.
Discontinuation of 'INSTAX mini 90'
It has also been decided to discontinue domestic sales of the instant camera 'INSTAX mini 90'. This is to transition to the new model 'INSTAX mini 99', which will be released on April 11, 2024.
